Greaseproof counter bags run from 35 to 50gsm, light enough to fold around a croissant. Block bottom bread bags are 70 to 100gsm. Kraft carriers for boxed cakes are 100 to 150gsm, and laminated gift bags 128 to 250gsm.

Questions bakeries ask.
Are your bakery bags food safe?
Yes. The food grade bags are food contact compliant stocks, with the print on the outside face only, so the food touches plain paper. Certificates for your market are available on request.
Will butter show through the bag?
Not through greaseproof paper: it holds butter, sugar and oil back from the print. Plain kraft marks over time with oily pastry, which is why we put pastries in greaseproof.
What is the minimum order?
1,000 units for kraft and laminated carriers, 5,000 for block bottom bags and pouches, and 10,000 for greaseproof and glassine bags. Each bag type has its own minimum.
Can I order several bag types in one quote?
Yes, and most bakeries do. Pick as many types as you like on the quote form and we price the set together in one reply.
Do I see the design before you print?
Twice. Your logo goes on the bag as a free digital mockup first, then a printed pre-production sample gets your approval before the full run. The sample fee is refunded in full when you order.
