What moves
the price.
How much do custom paper bags cost? Every bag is made to order, so the number comes back as a quote. Six things move it, and here is each one with the direction it pushes the price. What we can do is show you exactly which six things move the number, so nothing in the quote is a mystery.
Quantity
The biggest lever by far. Setup costs spread across every bag, so 5,000 bags cost far less per bag than 1,000. From 10,000 units, kraft bags can switch to a fully machine-made line and the price per bag drops again. Ask for two or three quantities in one quote and compare.
Size
Bigger bags use more material. A small counter bag and a boxed-gift bag can differ more than you would expect.
Material and weight
A 35gsm greaseproof and a 270gsm textured stock are different worlds. Heavier and specialty stocks cost more, and they feel like it.
Print colours
One colour is the value option; every added colour adds setup. Full colour CMYK sits at the top.
Finishes
Hot foil, embossing, debossing and spot UV each add a production step. They are also the cheapest way to make a bag feel expensive.
Shipping mode
Sea freight is the economical default for planned stock. Air exists for deadlines and costs accordingly. We quote both when timing is tight.
How paying works.
30% deposit to start production, 70% before shipping. A printed pre-production sample is $250 and gets your approval before the machines run. That $250 is refunded in full when you order. The digital mockup of your logo on the bag costs nothing and arrives with the quote.
Why no price list? Because a price list would need a row for every size, every paper, every print and every finish, and it would be wrong the day paper prices move. A quote takes one working day and is right.
