What moves
the price.
How much do custom paper bags cost? Every bag is made to order, so the number comes back as a quote. Seven things move it: here is each one, which way it pushes the price and, where the figure holds steady, by about how much.
Quantity
It moves the price less than most buyers expect. From 1,000 to 5,000 units the price per bag drops by around 5%, and from 5,000 to 10,000 by around another 5%. At 10,000 kraft bags can also switch to the fully machine-made line. Non-woven is the exception: its price per bag stays the same across quantities and options. Ask for two or three quantities in one quote and compare.
Size
Bigger bags use more material. A small counter bag and a boxed-gift bag can differ more than you would expect.
Material and weight
A 35gsm greaseproof and a 270gsm textured stock are different worlds. Heavier and specialty stocks cost more, and they feel like it. A 320gsm cotton bag runs around 8% above a 100gsm one.
Print colours
One, two or three colours cost the same. Full colour CMYK adds around 6%.
Handles
Twisted paper is the base. Cotton rope instead adds around 3%.
Finishes
Soft touch, gloss and hot foil cost the same as each other. Embossing, debossing and spot UV each add a production step. All of them are the cheapest way to make a bag feel expensive.
Shipping mode
Sea freight is the economical default for planned stock. Air exists for deadlines and costs accordingly. We quote both when timing is tight.
Rough figures, the same for nearly every bag in the range. A quote gives you the exact number for your size, material and print.
How paying works.
30% deposit to start production, 70% before shipping. A printed pre-production sample is $250 and gets your approval before the machines run. That $250 is refunded in full when you order. A digital mockup of your logo on the bag costs nothing.
Why no price list? It would need a row for every size, paper, print and finish, and it would be wrong the day paper prices move. A quote takes one working day and is right.
