There is no single standard paper bag size. Ours run from 12 × 22 × 9 cm for one cup to 50 × 36 × 16 cm for coats. Below are the standard sizes of every bag in the range, each with what it holds. Every bag is also made to your exact size. Pick any size to start your quote with it.
How to read the numbers
Paper and fabric bags are measured width × height × gusset. Width runs across the face and height from top to bottom. The gusset is the depth of the base when the bag is open. Thermal bags are boxes, so they read width × depth × height with a litre rating. Inches sit under each size, rounded to one decimal (1 inch is 2.54 cm). What size is a standard carrier bag?
There is no single standard size. In our range, the medium kraft carrier is 26 × 32 × 12 cm (10.2 × 12.6 × 4.7 in). It takes two meal boxes side by side, or A4 papers lying flat. Supermarket carriers run bigger: a 32 × 40 × 12 cm reusable bag or a 26 × 43 × 16 cm paper grocery bag.
What size bag fits A4?
An A4 sheet is 21 × 29.7 cm (8.3 × 11.7 in). The 26 × 32 × 12 cm kraft medium takes A4 documents and brochures lying flat, on a 12 cm base. For A3 (29.7 × 42 cm), the 40 × 45 × 15 cm non-woven bag (15.7 × 17.7 × 5.9 in) takes it upright.
How big is a carrier bag in litres?
Multiply width × height × gusset in cm, then divide by 1,000. Filled to the brim, a 26 × 32 × 12 cm kraft carrier holds about 10 litres. A 32 × 40 × 12 cm reusable bag holds about 15, and a 26 × 43 × 16 cm grocery bag about 18.
What size is a grocery bag?
The classic paper grocery bag has no handles: the 26 × 43 × 16 cm SOS (10.2 × 16.9 × 6.3 in). The reusable supermarket standard is the 32 × 40 × 12 cm non-woven (12.6 × 15.7 × 4.7 in).
What size gift bag do you need?
Jewellery and accessories fit a 25 × 20 × 9 cm laminated bag. Cosmetics sets and boxed retail take 32 × 26 × 11 cm, and apparel or bigger boxes 42 × 32 × 13 cm. In kraft, 30 × 25 × 12 cm covers boxed gifts, books and most retail.
What is a standard tote bag size?
The classic flat cotton tote is 38 × 42 cm (15 × 16.5 in), the everyday shopper. The gusseted 35 × 40 × 10 cm tote adds a base for groceries and market stalls. A compact 25 × 30 cm tote suits a pharmacy or bookshop.
What are the standard sizes for delivery bags?
Thermal delivery bags are measured as boxes, width × depth × height. The 22 × 18 × 18 cm bag holds about 7 litres, one order of two meals. The 32 × 25 × 25 cm holds about 20 litres, four stacked meal boxes. For grocery and catering runs, the 40 × 30 × 30 cm holds about 36 litres.
What size paper bag for bubble tea?

What size bag for a burger meal?
Lunch for one fits an 18 × 22 × 8 cm kraft bag. Two meal boxes side by side need 26 × 32 × 12 cm. At the counter itself, a burger goes straight into an 18 × 24 cm food grade greaseproof bag.
What size bag for a wine bottle?
One bottle stands upright in a 12 × 39 × 10 cm kraft bottle bag (4.7 × 15.4 × 3.9 in).
