A non-woven bag is made from polypropylene fibres bonded by heat and pressure rather than woven. That is why it feels like fabric, costs less than cotton and stands open on its own. Ours run from 80 to 180gsm, with gloss or matt lamination and heat-sealed tape handles. They take screen print, embroidery or a digital or transfer print. From 5,000 units. Is non-woven a plastic?
It is polypropylene fabric, so yes, a plastic, engineered for years of reuse rather than one trip. That is its honest job: replacing hundreds of single-use bags.
Can it be recycled?
Polypropylene is recyclable where local facilities accept it. The bag is built to make that question matter as late as possible.
Why choose it over cotton?
Cost at volume, structure, and a wipe-clean laminated surface. It stands open in a supermarket bagging area, which cotton does not.
How strong is it?
Supermarket strong. Heat-sealed, reinforced handle joins and a stiff body that takes a full shop.
Does the print wear off?
The laminated surface protects the print through repeated use and wiping.
Can I use non-woven bags in Western Australia?
Yes, at 90gsm or heavier with sewn seams, which Western Australia, South Australia and the ACT require. Those runs are sewn on request. New York does not accept non-woven as a reusable bag, so choose cotton there. Our plastic bag bans guide has the rest.

In China, through specialist production facilities, and every run is quality checked before it ships.
Do I see a sample before the full run?
Yes, always. A printed pre-production sample is $250 and you approve it before the machines start. The $250 comes back in full when you place the order.
